Jeff Gorman
Globally networked executive and trusted strategic advisor with more than two decades of experience in sovereign finance, geopolitical strategy, and institutional Bitcoin adoption. Having grown up in Saudi Arabia and beginning his career within one of the Kingdom’s most influential family conglomerates, Jeff developed an early understanding of regional power structures, energy dynamics, and sovereign capital flows. Active in Bitcoin since 2012, Jeff has advised UHNWIs, nation states, national oil companies, and some of the largest institutional investors in the world — including playing a pivotal role in the first-ever sovereign wealth fund purchase of Bitcoin. As a co-founder of Bitcoin Arabia, he works directly with public sector entities, sovereign wealth funds, and institutional allocators to design national Bitcoin strategies, implement institutional-grade custody frameworks, and align treasury policy with long-term economic resilience and growth.
Lara Eggimann
Lara Eggimann is the initiator of Bitcoin Arabia. With a background in European business, economics, and IT project management, Lara combines her technical expertise with a deep understanding of global markets. She is widely recognized as one of the leading Bitcoin experts in the Middle East, leveraging her extensive network and industry insights to drive adoption and innovation. Her journey began in 2018 when she started receiving her salary in Bitcoin, a defining moment that solidified her dedication to the Bitcoin industry. Lara's achievements include the successful establishment of Bitcoin Oasis, an exclusive business conference designed to bring together industry leaders and investors to explore opportunities within the Bitcoin ecosystem. Her efforts have played a critical role in advancing Bitcoin adoption across the GCC and Europe, where her expertise continues to shape the future of the financial landscape in the Middle East and beyond.
Daniel Casanova
Daniel Casanova is a highly accomplished legal professional with a distinguished academic and professional background in business law, legal consulting, and client advisory. Graduating summa cum laude in European Economic Law, he has built a reputation for combining rigorous analytical skills with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset. His expertise covers contract law, corporate compliance, and risk assessment, enabling him to guide clients through complex legal and regulatory environments with clarity and precision. Clark Swanson is an American entrepreneur, philanthropist, and civic leader, currently CEO of Blockmetrix, a leading digital asset company in HPC, infrastructure, and mining. As founding CEO of Blockcap, he built it into the world’s largest Bitcoin miner by production in 2021, later sold for $1.46B to Core Scientific (Nasdaq: CORZ, later acquired for $9B). Mohammed Alshiekh
Mohammed Alshiekh is deeply interested in Austrian economics, Bitcoin, and the intersection of technology and society. He explores how decentralization, incentive structures, and innovation shape the future, focusing on building resilient systems that empower organizations and drive sustainable technological progress. As the CTO of DEMA Energy, he plays a key role in developing the balanced grid of the future in Saudi Arabia. By integrating Bitcoin mining with demand response, he helps enhance grid stability, optimize energy use, and unlock new economic efficiencies in the energy sector. He holds a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Birmingham and an MSc in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, Mason Berry represents the next generation of a legacy Texas industrial family. His family founded Bay Ltd., one of Texas’s largest privately-owned construction and energy infrastructure companies, with over seven decades of experience serving the Gulf Coast’s petrochemical, refining, and energy sectors. Building on this foundation, Mason leads business development efforts within the family office and founded Rare Mining Company, an energy and Bitcoin infrastructure firm leveraging Bay Ltd.’s engineering and construction capabilities to power the global Bitcoin network. Rare Mining Company focuses on developing high-efficiency, large-scale energization projects in Texas and the GCC/MENA region, bridging American industrial expertise with Middle Eastern energy innovation. Currently based in Qatar, Mason works closely with regional partners to advance Bitcoin mining, energy optimization, and petrochemical infrastructure development throughout the Gulf.
